The Butts Family Reunion was started in 1973, by descendants of Harrison and Rhoda Butts. In 1976, the family officers were formally established growing into what we know the reunion to be today. We have officially held over 41 reunions. There were undocumented family meetings prior to 1976. The event was established to pass down family information, knowledge, and growth from generation to generation. We convene the second weekend in July every year in various cities in the United States. The reunions have been a way for our family to keep in contact with one another, share family news and have a great time. Every year our events are hosted by a different rotating city. Each year the reunion gets bigger and better. Our reunions will be cherished for generations to come.
